Today is the birthday of a very very important young lady! I don't know if you are all aware, but this beautiful woman is 99 YEARS OLD TODAY! Can you believe it?
(Grandma Judy, Mom, Great Grandma Nora, Me)How did she celebrate you may ask? By having a little open house so she could visit with her 100's, yes 100's, of decedents! I wasn't able to visit with Grandma Nora, so i'll have to visit her in a few weeks when i'm home from school. But I heard that she practiced her Jitter Bug and informed everyone at her party that if you didn't know how to do that dance back when her and my Grandpa Ernest were courting, then you couldn't go out dancing, which meant you had no chance at getting a cute boy/girl!
It's a shame that the dating world isn't the way my grandma remembers it.
